Founding President of Crusaders Sports Club and President of Kalutara District Cricket Association.
Dunstan was a Telecommunications Engineer by profession and served the Sri Lanka Telecom from which organisation he retired as a Deputy General Manager. Subsequently he also served the National Aquatic, Resources, Research and Development Agency (NARRA) in the capacity of a Director.
A versatile personality, Dunstan served various organisations mainly connected with sports. He was a Past President of the Government Services Sports Club (1995-2001), a Vice-President of the Amateur Athletics Association (AAA) for 10 years, an Exco Member of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) in 1996, the year in which Sri Lanka won the World Cup and an Exco Member of the Asian Athletics Association from 1995 to 1998
His remains lie at 30, Lake Road, Katukurunda, Kalutara. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri's Church Burial Grounds, Katukurunda (near the railway station) on Saturday, 15th September, cortege leaving residence at 3.00 p.m.
